We sell parts for many makes and models in varying conditions.
NOS or New Old Stock Parts – new old stock parts may differ from manufacturing of today and may have a less attractive surface finish or tooling marks present. Due to the age of those parts they may have marks from shelf wear or a protective coating that may require cleaning off. I do my best to put that in the description when that is the case but please be aware that although new they are still 50+ years old.
New Reproduction Parts – new parts are sourced from many suppliers, mostly in the UK although that does not mean that they are manufactured there. Any new parts known to be manufactured in the UK will have Made in England at the bottom of the description. Please be aware that everything is made to a price so a cheaper priced reproduction part may sometimes require light work when fitting.
Used Parts – We also have a large stock of genuine used parts. Those many have repairs or require repairing and that will be described in the description. I do my best to spot any defect but sometimes things can get past me and I do my best to rectify the situation when that happens. Some parts I may have multiple of so I will use the one listing with a stock number added, if that is the case the one received may differ from the photo but will be in a similar condition.
With so many changes over the years on models ordering the wrong part is easily done, if that is the case please contact me asap and a return can be arranged. Having a parts manual for the year and model of your bike is often the best way to order parts going off the original part numbers (which I put in the description) as changes can sometimes be yearly and look similar but differ. If unsure about fitment please contact and I will do my best to help or provide measurements/additional photos for you to determine.
If parts are ordered incorrectly we will not be responsible for refunding the original or return postage costs. A part can only be returned if it hasn’t been fitted, marked or damaged in any way.
